Geoffrey Cameron is a PhD candidate and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholar in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the role of religious groups in the evolution of refugee policy in the United States and Canada. He has worked for the Baha’i Community of Canada and as a senior policy advisor at Global Affairs Canada. He is the co-author of “Exceptional People: How Migration Shaped Our World and Will Define Our Future” (Princeton, 2012).
